OWEN NI
Owen, 26 (by 2024), is a music producer and DJ from a small town in Alabama. Growing up on mostly 80s & 90s Pop & Rock records, music has always been in his life. Friday nights he would wait up for a local radio block to play some of the best music he had ever heard like Prince, Parliament Funkadelic, and Kraftwerk.
He started his music production journey 12 years ago, with heavy inspiration from the sounds of Basic Channel, Carl Craig, Moby, and Richie Hawtin. After a few self-releases on soundcloud, 2013 saw Owen's first release with a label. By 2015 Owen started his own netlabel housing techno creations and beyond until it's closure in 2020.
Still in High school, Owen had began performing in different states with his own live show while DJing consistantly in Huntsville, AL. These shows led to amazing opportunities, opening for artists like Myles Sergé, Ron S., and more.
Fast forward to present time, Owen focuses on the production side of things even more, taking a step back from DJing. He continues to work with some of the best underground techno outlets and his tracks have gained support and play from DJs and producers around the globe. Owen's future with music is hopes to one day soundtrack a video game or film project.
